Letter 75
From Quebec. To her son 1643 (?) The heroism and the difficulties of the life of the Missionaries.
If you knew the life they have to live among the Indians, you would say that it is impossible, and that they could not live. But they do live there, they subsist by a special grace of God. In short, the labours of the workers for the Gospel are so great that I have no words to describe them. And what delights me most is the modesty with which they try to hide them.
