Letter 141

It has pleased Our Lord this year again to let us feel the work of His hand, having taken our dear Sr. St.

Joseph. She was my faithful companion and sharer in our little labours and her death is a real privation. But we must submit to His will and bend the neck under the orders of his Providence. There is no privation or loneliness where God is.
